Climax with Steel Trucks

Class A Climax S/N 149 built in 1896 or 1897 for H. C. Houston's Pinkerton Lumber Company of Pinkerton, Pennsylvania. This is the second of two locomotives built by Climax, painted yellow with red trim and lettering and bearing the name "GOLD BUG". This vertical boiler Class A Climax shows the steel truck frames adopted by Climax.
